El Caminito del Rey It includes 47 guides who will be able to act in emergencies.
El Caminito de El Rey, located in the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes Natural Park in the municipalities of Álora, Ardales and Antequera, continues to improve its offering to guarantee the best possible experience for its visitors. In an effort to reinforce security and emergency preparedness, the trail's Self-Protection Plan has doubled its staff, incorporating 47 guides from the companies Aloratur, Ardalestur, Suntravel and La Garganta.

These guides now become an additional tool in the comprehensive management system of Caminito, committed to maintaining the highest global safety standards for its users. To achieve this, the guides have received training in risk management, protocols for emergency situations and first aid, including the National CPR-AED Plan course of the Spanish Society of Intensive Care Medicine and Coronary Units-SEMICYUC. This training reinforces the certification of Caminito as a cardio-safe facility and has been carried out by the Chair of Safety and Emergencies of the University of Malaga, in collaboration with technicians from the Caminito del Rey, under the direction of the Provincial Council of Malaga and the UTE Caminito del Rey.
In other news, tickets have been announced for the period from April 1 to September 30 of this year.

El Caminito del Rey, currently managed by the UTE Sando Salzillo Servicios Integrales and Mundo Management, is an aerial path that meanders along the walls of the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes Natural Park, offering visitors a unique experience. With a length of three kilometres and a width of just one metre, it includes a hanging walkway at a height of 105 metres above the ground, known as the cantilever. The reconstruction and opening to the public in March 2015 transformed this path, previously considered one of the most dangerous in the world, into a completely safe path, providing a significant boost to the region.
